• In case the student is unable to follow the instructions or finish the task
please send a written note to the teacher so that she would help the child
further during the remedial.
• The formative assessment grades will be affected in case the child is un
able to submit the home work on time. Hence it is very important for the
child to meet the submission deadlines.
• Ensure that the child has completed the homework everyday as it will be
sent through the ERP.
• Over the weekends, additional work will be assigned.
ASSESSMENT
• Assessment is Formative and Summative.
• Formative assessment is done through group activities, presentations,
debates, projects, assignments, cyclic tests, periodic tests and work
habits of the student.
• Teachers plan and conduct ongoing formative assessments and map
students’ progress regularly.
• There is a paper pen cyclic test every week, periodic test every term and
a summative test every semester and the schedule is shared with you in
the beginning of the academic year.
• Student may opt to appear for the Cambridge check point exams at the
end of grade 5 and 8 in English, Math and Science. (Please refer to the
website, www.cie.org.uk for more information)
• The students appear for the Cambridge IGCSE and CBSE external
examination at the end of grade 10.
