CELEBRATIONS

• Epistemo believes in secularism and all the popular festivals are
celebrated within the school community.

• Birthdays are a special time in a child’s life. The lemur can
distribute chocolates to his/her classmates however, cakes and
return gifts are not allowed.

• We request parents not to involve school staff in personal
birthday parties out of school.
• We encourage book donation to the library on birthdays with
the child’s name on it.

• Please note that the class teachers will not share the contact numbers of
other parents or distribute birthday invitation cards of parties to other
students in school.

DISCIPLINE PLAN

• Students have an obligation to conduct themselves in a
manner that ensures both their own comfort and safety and
that of other students.
• Students will not eat any food or drink any beverage while
being transported to or from school.
• In the event of serious of continuous misbehavior by a
student on the bus the principal will address referrals from bus drivers
according to their school bus discipline plan.
• The principal has the authority to suspend a student from the bus and
determine the length of the suspension.
• Severe disruption and dangerous behavior will result in immediate
suspension of school bus privileges.
• Complaints regarding discipline on board school buses will be addressed
by the teacher in charge and escalated to the discipline committee.

DISCIPLINARY ACTION

• We wish to create a emotionally and physically safe school environment
for all students

• Any form of misbehaviour like bullying, Physical violence and attacks,
repeated verbal, written or electronic taunts, name-calling, demeaning,
threats and intimidation, extortion or stealing of money and possessions,
exclusion from the peer group, etc is an unacceptable and will be
addressed immediately by the discipline committee
